The Round Hill Association is hosting its annual meeting on Tuesday May 3, 2022 at the Round Hill Community House for all members and residents. The annual meeting this year marks a return to an in-person gathering after prior cancellations from the pandemic restrictions. The evening will begin at 6:30 PM with refreshments followed by the program start at 7:00 PM.
In addition to an address on the recent activities of the RHA from its president John Conte, this year the Association welcomes two well known and highly regarded speakers from the Greenwich Town Government, Margarita Alban, Chair of the Greenwich Planning and Zoning Commission (P and Z) and Katy De Luca, Director of the Greenwich Planning and Zoning Department.
As it has done in the past, The Round Hill Association continues to seek and present topical and current information of interest that impacts both the Round Hill community and Greenwich in general. The state of Connecticut and all its towns, including Greenwich, are now dealing with the well publicized issues of affordable housing requirements and the 8-30g law which is at the center of it. This is a complex issue which confronts the decision of local housing construction and the P and Z, which historically has overseen it.
No two people are more informed and involved in this debate and discussion than Ms Alban and Ms De Luca, who have tirelessly served the best interest of Greenwich for many years. They will share their insight and knowledge in prepared remarks and answer question from the floor at the meeting.
Please join us on May 3 at the Community House.
