New Executive Director at the Land Trust

The Greenwich Land Trust has announced that Will Kies will become its new Executive Director starting November 28. He succeeds Ginny Gwynn, who held the post for more than eight years. A Greenwich native, Will has been in senior leadership for the past 10 years at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center, most recently as Director of Education and Heckscher Farm.

The Greenwich Land Trust, headquartered at the corner of Old Mill and Round Hill Roads, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. It protects more than 200 acres in the Round Hill Association area.

Will notes that “protecting land is more than just preserving picturesque landscapes; it is vital to healthy communities both human and natural.”
