Welcome Annabel Gatto, one of District 10’s new RTM Representatives. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Annabel graduated from Cornell University, where she served as Class President all four years and sat on the Ithaca Youth Bureau Board, and later earned her MBA from Columbia Business School. She is the co-founder of Suitably, a women’s workwear brand sold online at Nordstrom and directly through Suitably.com. A mission-driven company, Suitably is committed to supporting professionals beyond what they wear by providing free career guidance seminars and mentorship to help professional women advance in their careers.
After living in New York City, Annabel and her husband Phil, a Greenwich native, made the move back to Greenwich to raise their family. She quickly fell in love with the town and did not look back. Annabel and Phil live in District 10 with their two children, Nellie, who attends nursery at Greenwich Country Day School, and Philip, who will begin at Putnam Indian Field School this September, along with their beloved goldendoodle, Theodore. Annabel is also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Now serving her first term on the RTM, Annabel is the Secretary of the Transportation Committee. She cares deeply about strengthening and expanding access to high-quality education for all children in Greenwich and believes our schools must be equipped to meet both the academic and mental health needs of students while maintaining high standards the community expects. She supports thoughtful transportation and infrastructure planning that keeps Greenwich safe and moving efficiently, as well as disciplined, forward-looking capital investments that ensure long-term stability.
Annabel is also committed to policies that support families and individuals at every stage of life, including youth wellness, childcare access, and women’s health. She approaches public service with a focus on practical, balanced decision-making that sustains strong public institutions, reinforces property values, and ensures Greenwich remains an exceptional community for residents of every generation.
