RHA Welcomes New Board Member Nathan Zibilich

While the tallest Greenwich trees may not offer the arboreal heights of the Northern California Redwoods where Nathan Zibilich played basketball, ran track and was raised, they do make a pleasant contrast to the eleven years he spent working and living in global equity research in bustling Hong Kong with his wife Christine. Nathan’s educational pursuits took him from San Francisco to the United Kingdom and his career has enabled his family to travel throughout Asia and to live in Prague.

Two of the three Zibilichs daughters were born in Hong Kong and the eldest is happy to be able to continue her Mandarin language studies at Greenwich High School, where as a team captain her rugby squad won the Connecticut state championship.

In town, the family enjoys taking the ferry to Island Beach, visiting the Avenue for shopping, and dining at their favorite restaurants, notably MŌLÍ. The close proximity to New York City affords the Zibilichs lots of opportunities for shows, museums and other cultural activities.

The Foundation House and the Babcock Preserve trails provide challenging but beautiful running terrains, and their dog Teddi enjoys the quieter country roads. Moving to Backcountry Greenwich three years ago, the Zibilich family have found the natural beauty and outdoor spaces particularly attractive.
