Local Art Exhibition of Accomplished Artists

Are you looking for some art from quality artists? After a recent absence, The Greenwich Art Society, with sponsorship from M & T Bank, is presenting its Annual Membership Exhibition called “Reviving Inner Rhythms”.  The exhibition will be at the Flinn Gallery on the second floor of The Greenwich Library from August 1 through August 18, 2023. There will be an opening reception and awards ceremony on August 3rd from 5:30 to 7:00 PM that will include a juror’s walk and talk of the exhibited art, all of which is for sale.

The juror for the exhibition is Clare Davies, Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.  An online digital and virtual gallery is available on https://www.greenwichartsociety.org/.

The Greenwich Art Society is the oldest art organization in Greenwich, founded in 1912 by pioneer members of the Cos Cob Colony of American Impressionists.  The mission of the organization is “to enhance our legacy of personalized visual arts education, outstanding art exhibitions, and children”s community outreach.”
