Lloyd Hull Memorial Oak Tree Dedication

On November 23, 2018, friends and family gathered on the lawn of the Round Hill Community House to pay tribute to Lloyd Hull, a much beloved former Director and President of the Round Hill Association.  A resident of backcountry for 60 years, Lloyd devoted a tremendous amount of energy and time to preserving and enhancing what we all love about this area of town.

John Conte, President of the Round Hill Association, presided over the dedication of a sapling oak tree and plaque in Lloyd’s honor.  The oak tree is the Connecticut state tree. The “mighty oak” grows to be big and strong, and is built to last hundreds of years, a fitting tribute to a wonderful man.
