Recommendations for Westchester County Airport (HPN) Policy

Citizens for a Responsible County Airport released the following from Westchester County Executive, George Latimer On July 2nd, after the community meeting that was attended by several Round Hill Association members, and Round Hill community residents, the following statement was released. The policy implementation recommendations look to be good news for Round Hill area residents and their quality of life! League of Women Voters Reminds You to Get Out and Vote in the Primaries!

Joanne Stavrou, and the League of Women Voters of Greenwich, reached out to remind concerned Round Hill area citizens to make sure their Greenwich, CT voter registration is in order, before the upcoming primary deadlines: EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE !!! Westchester County Airport Expansion Public Hearing

John Conte, Round Hill Association President, provided this recap of the Westchester County Airport (HPN) Expansion Public Hearing that was held on Monday, June 25, 2018. The meeting last night regarding the Westchester County Airport‘s Expansion was an open mic public hearing format. There was a brief presentation from the County Executive George Latimer, and a panel of representatives who spoke about newly reported findings of contaminated water and how it dates back to the past use of fire suppressants of a type that are no longer used. “Make Us Younger” Party at Audubon Greenwich

Party organizer Courtney Spada provided this account of the RHA party that was held at the Audubon Barn on Sunday, June 24th from 4:30-6:30 pm. “The weather cooperated perfectly on Sunday, June 24th as more than fifty backcountry neighbors gathered in The Barn at Audubon Greenwich for an evening of community building. The group shared delicious appetizers and summer cocktails while listening to the four-person Cover Story Band. In multiple instances, this evening offered next-door neighbors their first opportunity to connect. The event was met with rave reviews, generated true excitement about the Round Hill Association, and promises to become an annual tradition!”
